Jämställd Utveckling Skåne, JUS, is a Swedish non-profit NGO based in Skåne, the southern region of Sweden. Our purpose is to further the knowledge, interest, and commitment to gender equality with the focus on our regional development and growth. We work from an intersectional perspective on equality and use a knowledge-based approach.

Our goals are to conduct and support further education around gender equality; to be an active partner in the field of gender equality; to transfer and deepen knowledge; to provide consultancy and to gather organizations who believe in gender equality.

To achieve our goals we provide educational programs, talks and training sessions. Through conducting equality inventories, we assist you in defining your current situation and your needs for improvement regarding equality. We have experience both in assisting companies and organizations review and chart their specific challenges and possibilities to help them strive towards equality and in researching wider topics on commission. The focus and scope are tailored based on your organization’s specific needs and possibilities.

With an equality inventory as the groundwork, we create the efforts that work best for you and provide a wide range of different talks and workshops on equality to implement new strategies and knowledge.

Common topics we work with are for example norms in the workplace, language and communication, stress and health, parental leave, harassment as well as recruitment in an equality context.

Jämställd Utveckling Skåne collaborates in various projects to provide expertise in matters regarding equality. With our extensive experience and network, we can provide insight and knowledge to enrich your project. We are always happy to discuss the possibilities of involvement in new projects and encourage you to get in touch.

We are an umbrella organization which means that our member organizations are the core of Jämställd Utveckling Skåne. Our member organizations anchor us in the region with the goal of building a strong network in Skåne.
